Hello! It's week 3 of the ORC! We have made it to the half way point and I'm feeling pretty good about things... mostly. This week saw a lot of tiling and manual labor for both my dad and I (more so him, if I'm being totally transparent- thanks Dad). And if you saw my Instagram stories you'll know manual labor or too much of it in one week was not good for me. At all. Shout out to the ER doctors at Syosset hospital. Woop woop. Back to tiling. It's turning out to be quite the project to get ... [Read More]
One Room Challenge Week 2- A Kitchen Makeover
Welcome to week 2 of the One Room Challenge Guest Participant post. If you missed week one and my plans for the kitchen, please click here. A huge thank you to my dad who came over to help and to teach me to tile. You see, my dad is a master do it yourselfer. Yes, before it was cool to DIY, my dad has been doing it forever. I loved everything and can't wait to visit again. A big huge humungous thank you to Craig for taking me up there in the driving snow and super gusty winds. True love. He told me that this was my birthday and Valentine's gift for 3 years. So that's that. True love has limits. 😂 Why would I go to Canada in the middle of ... [Read More]
New Year… New Me?
Hey guys! It's been a while for sure. Happy 2019. Thank God for a new year. 2018 was a rough one for sure for my family and Craig's as well. I'm happy to see it behind me. Since about September I've been craving change. I've had a list of things I wanted to do and things I wanted to change but just couldn't implement anything. Not sure why. Maybe it was part laziness, part fear, but whatever it was, seems to have subsided and I'm committed whole heartedly to making some changes (maybe not all ... [Read More]
