Hey guys! It’s my favorite time of year- One Room Challenge time but I’m sad to say I’ll be sitting this one out. The room I had hoped to do for this challenge is well… done. Not a bad thing, I suppose. Since we have officially put our house on the market again, I couldn’t be in mid- project while showings and open houses were going on. So in just a couple of weeks the room was completed because it had to be. I do really enjoy this challenge and blogging about the progress of a room but stay tuned as I do a little recap of the room that was recently completed- our laundry room.
Frankly, I’m sort of a little relieved that I’m sitting this one out. The added stress probably would have sent me over the ever wobbly edge. To say we’ve had A LOT going on would be an understatement. You see, our littlest nugget had to have some pretty emergency eye surgery a couple of weeks ago. While he is continuing to do really well, it’s been a hell of a few weeks. Eh, shit happens. I’m just really thanking my lucky stars he’s ok! So for now I’m just taking it day by day and trying to power through all of the stress (and doctor appointments and the baaagillion daily eye drops he needs) with the help of my family (special thanks to my hubs and my MIL) and my close friends who have kept me sane (for the most part).

The benefit of sitting this round out is that you'll actually have time to read everyone else's. I find it so hard to stay caught up with everyone's posts as I scramble to complete my own project!!
