Hey guys! Hope those who celebrated Thanksgiving this past week had a great one! We had a good time reflecting on what we are thankful for while stuffing our faces- always so much fun.

If you know me, you know I love Chinoiserie (Chinese motifs). I have it sprinkled through the house and it always makes me smile. Chinoiserie is classic and timeless and I will never tire of it – especially blue and white ginger jars. I have a fantasy of having my dining table look like this one day…
Ok, I’ll take this whole space (not just the jars).
While the blue and white is a print, it works as a neutral (much like leopard). Any print that works as a neutral makes me a happy girl.
My tiny obsession with blue and white jars started when I saw this little cutie in a shop in Duck, North Carolina.
I. had. to. have.
So it was with this little container, I wanted more!
Then came this cutie.
She seriously looks great with hydrangeas. LOVE!
Then this happened…
At over 2′ she is a beaut.
And then she gotta a little holiday action of course
I may add some more over the next few months, years etc. But there you have it Buttercups- my blue and white contribution to the The Pink Pagoda’s Blue and White Bash.

My love affair with blue and white is as hot as ever, although there was a 5 minute period back in 2009 when I swore it off for good, in a fit of nesting rage. I blame the pregnancy hormones. But thankfully my hoarding tendency was, and is, much stronger than my get-rid-of-shiz inclinations, so I still have and use and add to my collection every chance I get!
