Sorry for the late post today, but I’m only getting back from my client’s house umm… now and sadly, with not so much to show for it. Thankfully though, I’m feeling good about getting everything done by the deadline since having nailed down a few things this week such as– a dresser! Thank you Dear Sweet Jesus. So many of you commented or emailed well wishes and good vibes for finding a replacement for the stunner dresser I found that couldn’t happen (still not over that apparently). I am so happy to report that my client’s husband is probably on his way as I type this to go pick up the newest (and really great) dresser I found this week! I’ll try to post a picture of it on Instagram or maybe savor the sweet moment for next week’s post- but stay tuned!
I really was losing all sorts of hope because of all the road blocks and budget restraints and the like. But now, with renewed hope because of finding these two last large purchases (and all under $375- um yea- budget shmudget) I am ready to hit the ground running on accessories and the finishing touches. So next week, I’m hoping to have something going in terms of said finishing touches because let’s face it, 2 weeks left is not a lot of time. Also crossing fingers and toes to have Mary Eaton in the space, at least leaning on the wall if not up! Can’t wait for that. Fo’ sheez.
Until then Buttercups… well, maybe another blog post in between hopefully… until that time then.

Those pesky Home Goods vultures. Luckily for me, I live in OH and most of the peeps walk right by the good stuff with nary a clue on their way to grab another stuffed Santa. But hell yes, you must grab and go, and ask permission later!! Can't wait to see Miss Mary in all of her glory – she is going to make this room sing!!
