Happy Tuesday All. I hope those of you who had a 3 day weekend because of the Fourth of July had a great weekend. The actual holiday for many of us on the east coast was a wash out. It poured most of the day Friday and so we had to pack all the fun into 2 days. Friday night cleared up just in time for our neighbors to have a little firework display. I was thankful I could see them from our yard, wine in hand and with a sleeping baby who only stirred a little.
We did have a great two days despite having to pack it all in. We spent Saturday with friends in the Hamptons, enjoying the beach and some great food. Later on that night, we went down to the bluff (where we got engaged) and watched fireworks. The vantage point was amazing. We could see so many displays (at least 6 of them) because we were so high up. It was a great night. Sunday our niece and the baby enjoyed pool time in the yard. They had a wonderful time laughing and playing with each other, as they always do. They really are best friends. Looking forward to more of that this summer!
So yesterday was recovery and relaxation day with the little guy- as most Mondays have become for us this summer. Can you tell we are enjoying every second of the weekends!? But I did get to thinking about the colors often worn the Fourth of July. Red, white and blue. These colors actually work really well together especially for interiors. I love it when it’s paired with black. It’s super chic. Take a look.
I don’t think I could handle walking through this every day. I would just die from happiness.
Ok so this is red, white and minty… still super pretty.
And then there is blue and white wallpaper. Heavenly!

So happy Tuesday all. Does anyone else feel like it’s officially summer?
