Hey All. Hope you had a great weekend. Our weekend was jam packed with all sort of family fun times. My weekend really began Thursday with my beloved NY Rangers beating the Montreal Canadians (sorry to my Canadian readers). It’s been 20 years in the making and I’m so thrilled they are going to the Stanley Cup playoffs. Last time this happened I was 13 years old and getting getting kissed for the first time under a tree at a carnival. Wow, 20 years! That’s a whole Justin Bieber. Anyway. I’m way excited about the possibility of The Cup coming to NY!
Friday, hubster and I went on a little date and saw the movie Maleficent. Awesomesauceness. I really enjoyed the shit out of it. I mean Sleeping Beauty is my favorite Disney- ever. Saturday, we took the little chiclet out to a great little park I discovered last week. This park had everything- farm animals, nature trail and playground and get this, a water playground- a sprinkler park! Sunday came and we tried reorganizing the playroom and guest room which turned into- let’s go to the beach instead and leave the house looking like crazytown. UGH. Project still not done. House is still crazytown. Oh well. We had so much fun. The baby had a ball exploring and playing in the sand and us parents each took a turn with Uncle Chris out in his Jet Ski. So fun! Can’t wait for more of that this summer.
Ok so enough about my weekend… I’m excited to share my progress at my client’s house. It’s really coming together. We had hit some snags in ordering and whatnot and so we sort of got stuck in limbo so that’s why there has been a lack of follow up. But things started moving and so we are chuffing along.
Remember back when I posted about said client? He was really loving the Greek Key for the stair runner in the foyer. I found it and he loves it and I am happy.
I also presented the fabrics I selected the other day and I’m happy to say, they were well received. We both agreed these fabrics would look ever so stunning in the space.
So that’s that and I am loving it- like for realsies. Next up is the rug selection and nailing down a coffee table and some accessories. Hoping to check that room off soon.
The dining room is also getting prettified. The lamps I selected came in and they are spot on with the color of the wall. Patskie on the backskie (can you tell I’m deliriously happy?). We are waiting on this lady to come in. She is the show stopper in the room in all her mirrored gloriousness.
