Guys, not a lot happened over here this week. I had all intentions of getting the room at least painted but… life happened all over the place. I did however, order the rug and wallpaper and finalized paint colors. So yay for that. If you want to catch up on week one and see what my scheme looks like click here. This week (from last Thursday to today-Wednesday) has been a week- one of those weeks where I was about to lose it at any moment. You see my Abuela, my beloved grandmother, was hospitalized. I legit thought I was going to lose her Sunday night. I haven’t ever been that terrified in my life. She miraculously bounced back this week and is on the mend. Thank God and so so many prayers. So you can understand my not getting anything done in the room excuse. Plus there was regular life. Kids and such oh and preparing for my little one’s eye surgery numero dos on Friday. UGH. Is it June yet? Hoping by June everyone will be healthy and happier. #goals
This week I plan on:
Painting the walls
Finish painting the built in
Getting the paper hanger to come in to hang the paper on the ceiling
Wish me luck. I’ll need it. Did I tell you we are having guys in next week to turn our linen closet into a laundry centre (center with an “re” because we fancy like that)? Eclectic and plumbing happening. I don’t know what to expect since we never hire out for jobs but Im thrilled to get laundry in the house finally!
I was able to get at least 2 coats of paint on the drawers last night and it looks fantastic! It needs to be finished but at least something got done.
Soft scape items. Throw Pillows, rug, and bedding.
