2018 Spring Home Tour Bloggers

Welcome to the Spring Home Blog Hop.

I want to start by thanking Monica from Monica Wants It for putting together this series of tours. Her spaces are beautiful so make sure to stop by her blog.

I have to admit that I procrastinated with this project, mainly because we had a super busy weekend last weekend with a party for my son’s birthday here at home. It was decorated per his request with Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Mario Brothers. So you see, I couldn’t decorate. Bunnies don’t mix with blue hedgehogs or plumbers. 😉

This week saw a few inches of snow here on Long Island. March comes in like a lion you know. So did I feel like decorating? Nope. I wanted to enjoy the snowfall. So that left things for yesterday. I woke up early thanks to my 5 year old and started getting things done. Thanks to the 2 hour delayed start for school, I was able to get most of the dining room done which is the room I focused on for this tour. The rest of my home is ok, but it’s a work in progress. You’ll have to stay tuned to see all those updates!

For me, Spring begins with Easter and so I decorate accordingly. After all, bunnies, chicks and eggs lends itself to the whimsical feeling my kids now enjoy.

And finally added some wreaths to the front door.
