Hey guys. I am back after a little break. It’s been a rough few months. You see, my beloved Abuelo (grandpa) passed away at the end of May. You know by now I was very close to him and so it’s just been ups and downs of missing him and trying to remember all the good days I was so fortunate to have with him.
I am getting by with my new found love of roses. I want them all over my yard (next year’s project). He loved roses so much and had a wonderful rose garden when I was growing up. I’ve been finding solace in caring for mine lately and cutting little ones here and there and putting them in front of a photo I have of him.

Thanks Alex for reaching out. It made my transition getting back to blogging a little easier since I am a flower lover all because of my Abuelo.
