So…. it’s no secret that I have a slight obsession with design– after all, it is my profession. I get my fix mostly through Instagram these days because it’s a great way to find new talent (hello hashtags, I’m talking to you).
Recently, I reached out to my followers and asked if anyone would like to collaborate with me, you know, get to know one another instead of just clicking ❤️ on a pretty photo. Like really connect.
Stevie Storck, a Designer based in Pennsylvania reached out to me and boy I’m glad she did. She is one talented woman and just super sweet and kind. And Buttercups, she’s been published in Huffington Post!! Click here to check that out. Like WOAH!
The lovely and talented Stevie Storck.

We decided for our collaboration that we would answer the following questions. So be sure after reading this, you click on over to her blog to read my answers.
What influenced you most in making the decision to be a designer?
Our house is still very much a work in progress. My favorite change we’ve made is definitely the DIY faux brick wall we created in our future master bedroom. It was my solution to disguising an awkwardly placed window, creating a focal point and adding some character back into our old home. There was a fire in 2012, so the upstairs was totally renovated and is very builder-basic. We used faux brick panels from Lowe’s, painted white for a fresh clean look.
