Yup so our little baby boy turned ONE… two months ago. March is always such a crazy month in terms of weather and since I wanted to have a big birthday bash, we decided to have the party when the weather was nicer (most of the time). From the minute I first thought about his first birthday, I knew I wanted it to be a carnival/circus theme and I knew I wanted to DIY a lot of the games and such. Somehow the weeks in between his birthday and the day of the party flew and by the time I knew it, I (or shall I say we) had a lot to do in 2 weeks.
I was really pleased with how things turned out- even though the weather was a little uncooperative… it was super windy and periods of cloudiness made it chilly. But it was a great day to celebrate our little boy.
I am terrified of clowns and yet still love absolutely everything about this birthday party. I'm sure your little man and everyone else had a blast. Good mommy award for you for doing all of this for your beautiful baby!!
