Ok I don’t know if this is something I should be doing right now with Freddy’s big 1st birthday party to plan in only 4 weeks but here goes nothing as they say. Linda over at Calling It Home is doing another One Room Challenge. 20 design bloggers (check them out here) 6 weeks – one room completed in that time. I will be participating in the linking party and I’m nervous and oh so excited at the same time. I can do this and since I have to get the dining room in order like bad, I figured this would be a good motivator. I do have some plans for the space already brewing in my head and posted here a few weeks ago if you recall.
But like really, this needs to happen and with the One Room Challenge I’m gonna get my tush in gear. Among the list of things needing to get done- PAINT! Uh oh, sorry Craig. The room does need a different color (and maybe some wallpaper ( don’t divorce me Craig- please). But what color? Agonizing choice! Grey or white or…? TBD.
The Dorothy Draper style chest I have to pick up from my mom’s house needs a major overhaul (long story- that I’ll blog about I’m sure) but all I can say is worst mistake ever– it’s red. Are you crying? I am! (Mom, why did we do that!?)
Light fixture also HAS to change from it’s current hideousness.
