Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all those celebrating. We celebrated yesterday (not that I am at all Irish…) with 2 doses of corned beef (lunch and dinner- two separate houses may I add- you would think we were really Irish) and I think I’m still full (oh yea- as I stuff my face with left over soda bread and some butter…).
I’ve actually been thinking about getting a green sofa for a while now for the den/playroom and since it’s St. Paddy’s day it would be fitting to talk about it- no? Now green is not my favorite color, I like it, don’t get me wrong, I just don’t use it all that often so I’m not sure why I feel like I need a green sofa. But there are times I actually think I should use more green, because it does make a great impact.
I think I first fell in love with a green sofa when I saw this pretty lady at Room and Board adorned with some pink pillows. It was so very pretty. I love the mid-century look of it combined with the bold green. The fabric is a yummy velvet and is super soft.
May the roof over your head be always strong,
And may you be in heaven
Half an hour before the devil knows you’re dead.
