Welcome to I Like it Lovely. I’m starting this venture hoping to inspire you all with something lovely every day (maybe every other day- ok maybe 3 times a week…just keeping it real).

This blog won’t just be about interiors, but I’ll include all things lovely even the lovely adventure of parenthood (and when I say lovely, I mean crazy- the good and the bad).

My first lovely is Nature. Mother Nature- although a pain in the arse lately for us suffering through this brutal winter- she inspires me most of all. When I can really stop and look, there is always a new and fresh color scheme I had never seen.

I mean come on- this happens every year at Casa Meyer- and it’s pretty spectacular. This color scheme needs to happen- somewhere-perhaps a teen girl’s room?

I know this blog will be nature filled- because for me, nothing inspires me more.

My newest inspiration as of late though are artists, other designers and bloggers. I am constantly in awe of the new things their minds come up with and the way they view the world. Mostly, I get my courage from them. The courage to put up the huge giclee print of Marie Antoinette (because it’s always been one of my faves) but never could for fear of it being “too much.”
